Police in Bamenda have teared gas Common Law Lawyers as they  stormed the city’s court this Tuesday 8 of November,2016 demanding for their voices to be heard.Gun shots were also head and unconfirmed reports says some lawyers are receiving treatment after gun firing by  security forces.The population of Bamenda later join the striking lawyers. It was Ni John Fru Ndi who arrived and claimed things down.

The lawyers are demanding for an English -speaking Supreme Court, and also want French Magistrates to be withdrawn from courts of Anglophone Cameroon.
