Lieutenant Colonel Mboutou arrived Yaounde Nsimalen International airport Saturday 18th of November,2016 aboard a Royal Air Maroc flight from Rabat-Morocco. On high instructions from the head of state the military attache will be auditioned in the next hours hours mainly by the investigators of the national gendarmerie in a wide case of corruption and retro commissions that would involve the former Minister of Defense Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o”,investigative journalist Boris Bertolt reported.

Also source informs that,the French judiciary had earlier sent a Letter of Rogatory to the Cameroon Government that they suspect a wide network of money laundering, involving the former Minister of Defense Mebe Ngo’o.Reasons,President Biya instructed the Minister of Defense Beti Assomo and the Minister of External Affairs Lajeune Mbella Mbella to bring the Lieutenant back to Cameroon after the French judiciary contacted the supreme court of Cameroon on information this unaccounted money,which was thousands times more than his live savings as a military attache.

Recall that alafnet.com had reported that Lieutenant Colonel Ghislain Joel Mboutou Ele, a Military Diplomatic officer at the Cameroon Embassy in Morocco and Mauritania, was arrested in the French capital  Paris with more than 1 Billion FCFA in his procession. The military officer landed in Paris aboard a private jet from Rabat disclosed then that he was a real estate agent and wanted to buy a house in France which sources say was for his former boss the current Minister of Transport Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o.

His marlise started at the airport when scanner detected suspicious elements among his belongings. Joel Mboutou was allowed to go but the French domestic intelligence services engage a discrete monitoring of the Military Attache from Cameroon to Morocco and Mauritania who finally  took residence at the luxurious Georges V hotel near the Champs D’Elysees in the French capital(alafnet.com gathered a day in this hotel minimum is $ 1000 a day).
After a stop at his hotel, Lieutenant Colonel Mboutou, heads toward a real estate agency, under the watchful eye of the French security,who followed on without him noticing. The elements of the ISB (Directorate General of internal security) break into the real estate agency where the transaction was going on. Where Flagrante delicto finds the senior Air Force officer and apprehended him instantly. His business partners were also arrested. Despite the entreaties of Colonel Mboutou, the French did not hold back.

At the time of his arrest he was in possession of  just over 45 million CFA francs … A search conducted at his hotel Georges V found a sum of 1.3 Billion Fcfa ( 1.4 billion FCFA in total) in a case with confidential documents.These exhibits were recorded in the investigation procedure.

Lieutenant Colonel Mboutou interviewed by the ISB cops before the judicial police.After which he was referred to the Tribunal de Grande Instance parquet Nanterre, where he was interviewed by an investigating judge in the criminal House of the Court on money laundering.

During his hearing before the examining judge, his confiscated cell phones rang constantly.
A Cameroonian telephone number subscribe to a South African mobile operator, called and sent text messages insistently attributing it to Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o, current Minister of Transport, former Minister for the Presidency of the Republic in charge of defense.Also, photos and messages from his phoned revealed a causal relationship between the Transport Minister and his former assistant for seven years at the Ministry of Defence.

He was later bail and placed under judicial police supervision ,but his diplomatic status eventually  saved him from the grips of the French judiciary and he returned to Morocco.

At the time of this report,the culprit is answering questions concerning the House he wanted to buy in France, the 45 million Francs found on him during his arrest, and the One Billion, Three Hundred Million Francs discovered in a brief case in his hotel room just next to Champs D’Elysees.
