Lawyers gathered after a successful protest in Muyuka
Alafnet.com is geeting reports that military Forces in Cameroun have invaded the town of Kumba in the South West region as the strike action by lawyers of the English expression spreads .
Our source on the ground says the action by the military is in a bid to intimidate protesting lawyers.
Prior to the police brutality on Common Law Lawyers, in Buea and Bamenda,Limbe,Muyuka inhabitants of Kumba ,the capital of Meme Division ,are witnessed an early morning troop deployment of gun-totting policemen and gendarmes apparently to prevent and planned protest by lawyers.
The Anglophone lawyers are opposing to what they describe as the assimilation of common law by the French civil law system.
They are also opposing to the non respect of their call for dialogue.
