After several months at the garage of Ethiopian Airlines’ in Addis Ababa, a Boeing 737-700 NG belonging to State carrier Camair-co landed on Runway 30 at Douala International Airport at 5:55 pm on Tuesday. The return of this plane is a real relief to the crisis plagued Cameroon airline company(Camair-co).
This arrival, along with the other 3 operational aircrafts, the two MA60s and the Boeing B737 (TJ-QCA),is expected to increase Camair-co’s internal flight programs as the company now eight domestic destinations viz;-Bafoussam, Bamenda, Yaoundé, Douala, Ngaoundere, Maroua, and Garoua and Bertoua .
The national airline also plans to serve four intercontinental destinations (Brussels, Paris, Washington, and London) and eleven regional destinations viz; (Abidjan, Bamako, Bangui, Cotonou, Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Libreville, Ndjamena and Lagos).
To date, the fleet of the company is five aircraft,( two MA60s and two Boeing B737 (TJ-QCA,One Boeing Boeing 737-700 NG)
