Alafnet.com is aware that Secondary Education minister has written to all regional delegates demanding that each Delegate summit list of non-Anglo-Saxon teachers teaching in Anglo-Saxon schools to be sent to him within 48 hours.
In a press release signed by Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle, of which alafnet.com has attached a copy, the Minister also wants to know all Anglo-Saxon teachers teaching currently teaching in classrooms.
He is demanding to know the situation of teachers per subject in the sciences with regards to the recruitment of 1,000 bilingual teachers .
A translated copy of the Ministers communique reads:
“I have the honour to employ your good will to make available to me within 48 hours,a list of Anglophone teaching staff,(Holding the GCE), working in the Francophone education sub system.And those of Francophones(holders of Baccalaureate) working in the Anglophone education sub system in your various jurisdiction of competence.
These documents must be made available for proposals of re-posting the teachers concerned to adequate institutions .
More so,in view of the special recruitment of 1000 teachers in science and technology ,authorised by the Head of State Mr.Paul Biya,Kindly send to me in the shortest deadline possible the list of needs in teams of teaching staff in the various disciplines concerned, so that the vacant posts susceptible to the recruitment will be filled .
