Cameroon: Bishop of buea instructs education secretary to suspend reopening till further notice.

The Education secetary for Buea Diocese
Fr. Alexender Sob, on the instructions of the Bishop, His Lordship Bishop Emmanuel Bushu, Chancellor of Academic orders has postponed the reopening of all Catholic Schools within the Buea Diocese until further notice.

This is to say, CKC Tiko, Repacol Mutengene, St Ann Limbe, Our Lady of Mt Carmel Muea, St. Paul Bojongo, SJC Sasse College, Bishop Rogan College, Catholic University and all other Nursery and Primary schools shall have their doors closed on Monday 9th January. The information asked all teachers, students and pupils to stay home til further notice.

Following the announcement, the Rector of bishop rogan college soppo Buea( BIROCOL) sent a circular yesterday to parents that will not reopen reopen today as announced because of security concerns.

Sources here and there confirm that the Baptist and presbyterian schools have also done same because of the,Ghost Town on Monday 9th of January,2017 Of which the pupolation of the enitre West Cameroon have been adviced to Stay at home ,no movement, no shops or business expected to open.
