Aéroports du Cameroon (ADC – Cameroonian Airports), the public company managing the country’s airports, has just awarded a contract for the quality control check on the airport roads rehabilitation project for the Douala International Airport, to the technical control firm Qualys TPI Sarl, France.
This contract which will be undertaken over a period of six months, we officially learned, will cost slightly over FCfa one billion, all taxes inclusive. The Douala airport will even be closed during the first two weeks of March 2016 because of the rehabilitation jobs.
During this closing period, ADC explains, all flights and passengers heading for or departing Cameroon will be operating from the Yaoundé-Nsimalen airport, located in the suburbs of the country’s capital.
