According to Bamenda Sherif who reported that the hawker was child, the incident happened at the Hospital rounabout in Bamenda where some the Cameroun men in uniform are stationed.
Further investigation by alafnet.com revealed that in an attempt to get her money, the vendor called one boy to help collect the money but the men in uniform where playing games with the child asking if the kid can identify which of them ate the ‘Koki’.They finally didn’t pay and the story has angered Bamenda.
A source also informed that such Intimidation of this kind are very common with the Forces of Law of order especially when ever there is social tension in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon, informed a source.
Recall that recently security forces who seem to above the law in English-speaking Cameroon, brutalised lawyers, rape, battered and killed more than 10 citizens for protesting peacefully.
Note that the gendarmes ate the child’s basin all ‘koki’ just a day after some of their colleagues in the capital of the Southwest region were pictured in Apostle John Chi’s Church, where the man of God prayed with them for peace in Cameroon.

The news has gone viral social networks with many questioning, how can there be peace when security forces keep tempting people’s daily lives like this?
