Cameroon Military Court adjourns hearing of Anglophone political prisoners

A Yaounde based military  court  has for the second time adjourned the case against Barrister Balla , Dr Fontem and Mancho Bibixy to the 23rd March 2017.

Hearing which started this morning at precisely 10 am was attended  by over a hundred lawyers answered present at the military court in y’de National and international,including Karim Ahmad Khan, a British lawyer and specialist in international criminal law and international human rights law who represented President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya at the ICJ international court of justice at The Hague in Holland.Non of them want any form of payment from the West Cameroonian for being their lawyer.


During the trail there were some commotion in the hall as the lead counsel of Balla and co Barrister Muna rejected the reading of the charges which were read in French. The person doing the translation was so poor that the lead counsel had to stop the translation.
