The speaker of National Assembly of Cameroon Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Dibril has narrowly avoided a Fcfa 27 million theft in the National Assembly.

The head of cabinet of the president of the National Assembly forged the signature of Djibril Yeguie Cavaye for a fictitious mission to Bangladesh with the company of one of his deputies ,according to the investigative journalist .
The total cost of the mission was estimated at CFAF 26,325,230 for a period of 15 days ,alafnet.com understands.
It was the vigilance of the President of the National Assembly when signing the document that he noticed it was fake .
A source close to the Parliament has hinted that an investigation in to the matter will be opened in the next few days.
