In paradise of protest, Cameroon,”Mummy, mummy, mummy,”cries of innocent school pupils fleeing from police brutality (video)

“Mummy, mummy, mummy,” cries of innocent school pupils fleeing from police brutality in Buea,the capital of the South West region of Cameroon during demonstration by students of the University of Buea Monday 28th of November, 2016 .With Confusion everywhere children as young as three who are the most vulnerable fled for their lives.Gunshots were heard.

All schools in Anglophone Cameroon are on strike according  teachers Trade Union but some school authorities defy the protest and opened their schools .

“School principals and headmasters must be held accountable if a child is missing or dead. You can’t be forcing kids to come to school amid tense insecurity,” observers say,


Note that besides the well publised demonstrations in Buea and Bamenda, both in the English speaking part of the country ,parts of French Cameroon have in the last month taken to the streets blocking roads in some cases to express their worries.

In the Capital -Yaounde Bus drivers of’ le Bus’took to the streets becasue of more than 20 months unpaid salary.

like Buea University(UB) , Unversity of SOA staged a week ago a massive demonstration on the non-payments of the presidential grant of excellence.

As reported by a few days ago, tensions are high at the Douala unvisity too worst still student can’t understand the criteria used choosing candidates for the grant by Mr Biya .
