Football transfer market in Eorpe is hitting up with moves here and there.
And the latest news from alafnet.com about Clinton Njie is that,
Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Lyon’s Clinton Njie have received a major boost after the French club reportedly set their asking price for the striker.
According by ‘Le Parisien’lyon wants €12million plus Federico Fazio for the 21-year-old Cameroon international.
The fee, which works out at just over £8.3m, is well within Spurs’ budget while Argentina defender Fazio has struggled to establish himself at White Hart Lane since moving to England last summer.
Tottenham boss Maurico Pochettino is determined to refresh his attacking options before the end of the transfer window.
He has already reinforced his defence by bringing in former Southampton loan star Toby Alderweireld from Atletico Madrid, which could make Fazio expendable.
Njie, who has also been linked with Newcastle, would add pace to the Spurs front line which looks certain to change in the coming weeks with Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor tipped to join Villarreal and Aston Villa respectively.
